Hi, My name is Angeli. I'm a smart and creative Emmy nominated storyteller who works tirelessly to build sources, hold the powerful accountable, and deliver original content to my audience.

 

My career started in New York where I spent a decade working in the digital space. First, as an entertainment reporter covering red carpet events like the Tribeca Film Festival before making my way into news producing videos for syndication on USA Today, AOL and MSN, and as a video producer and host at the New York Post. It was at this point in my career I had the itch to be in the field with boots on the ground. I packed my bags and headed to Indianapolis where I spent two years at WISH-TV as a MSJ before moving to Seattle to join the KING 5 Morning Team as a reporter. 

 

A few facts about me:

I once swam with hammerhead sharks off the coast of the Galapagos Islands.

I'm from Roseville, MN - home of the first Target store in the country.

​

I'm co-producing a feature film based on a true story about cross cultural adoptions and the role social media plays in reconnecting families. 

​

I have never had the Chickenpox.

​

My favorite food is ice cream. 

​

I have written and recorded three albums and performed on three continents.

​

I am a 8 x marathon runner. 

​

My parents are Indian immigrants. One is a biochemist and the other is a doctor. I can't stomach needles.
